Wenn ich mehrere Programme/Fenster offen habe (im aktuellen Kontext hab ich 6 Programme offen und 10 Fenster),der PC läuft jetzt seit ca 10Stunden kann ich kein neues Programm starten es tut sich nichts. Bringt xterm ( terminal emulator for X) auf der Kommandozeile eine Fehlermeldung?
Da tut sich nichts, es öffnet sich nur ein anderes Konsolenfenster. Probiert als normaler Nutzer und root
z:b. xterm: Xt error: Can't open display: xterm: DISPLAY is not set
dann hat "irgendwer" die Umgebungsvariable DISPLAY "undefinerit", d.h. X11 weiss nicht wo das fenster angezeigt werden soll
