Der letzte Wert blinkt rot, da falsch, er muesste ja 60 Hz betragen. Wenn ich
das Manual richtig verstehe, ist dort fuer den zweiten Wert digital 31 - 76
kHz angegeben, d.h. die 50 liegen da direkt in der Mitte.
Im Anhang ein Auszug aus dem Xorg.0.log. Danach holt sich X11 die Monitordaten
via DDC ab, und das sieht -- sowenig ich davon verstehe -- alles korrekt aus.
Daher verstehe ich ueberhaupt nicht, warum das Timing nicht funktioniert.
Vielleicht kann mir ja jemand auf dieser Basis weiterhelfen.

Danke, dass koennte vielleicht helfen, laut X11-Log werden ja Monitor und
GraKa richtig erkannt und der korrekte Treiber (mga) verwendet. Doch, wie
bekomme ich die richtigen HorizSync und VertRefresh Werte?
Das alte 10.2 ist mit 1600x1200@60Hz digital gelaufen. Digital muss der
Monitor laut Handbuch mit 59 - 61 Hz betrieben werden (also 60 Hz). Analog
habe ich den Monitor nie verwendet -- wuesste ad hoc gar nicht, wie ich
das hinbekommen koennte.
Also, wenn ich X11 mit dem mga-Treiber zu starten versuche, zeigt der Monitor
folgendes an:
fD: 108.0 MHz
fH: 50.0 kHz
fV: 40.0 Hz
Der letzte Wert blinkt rot, da falsch, er muesste ja 60 Hz betragen. Wenn ich
das Manual richtig verstehe, ist dort fuer den zweiten Wert digital 31 - 76
kHz angegeben, d.h. die 50 liegen da direkt in der Mitte.
Im Anhang ein Auszug aus dem Xorg.0.log. Danach holt sich X11 die Monitordaten
via DDC ab, und das sieht -- sowenig ich davon verstehe -- alles korrekt aus.
Daher verstehe ich ueberhaupt nicht, warum das Timing nicht funktioniert.
Vielleicht kann mir ja jemand auf dieser Basis weiterhelfen.
