Pah, immer diese Java Probleme bzw. die von OpenJDK verursachten Java Probleme.
Installier bitte die SUN Pakete:
java-1_6_0-sun
java-1_6_0-sun-plugin

Und danach musst du unbedingt
update-alternatives --config java
ausführen.

Dann kannst du das GNU/Linux i586 / x86_64 Binary File von der
Homepage von Tuxguitar herunterladen, entpacken und losarbeiten!

Du hast doch openSUSE 11.4? Denn leider ist es da in keinem Repository.
