Wenn Du ihn formatieren willst
a) (ggf. umount) b) als root: mkfs -t ext3 /dev/sdf1 c) als root: mount d) als root: chown dein_user:deine_gruppe gemounterter-stick
Man sollte noch per fdisk die FS-Id auf 0x83 setzen.

Anfang Ende Blöcke Id System /dev/sdf1 * 1 10198 7831527+ c W95 FAT32 (LBA) # fdisk /dev/sdf1 -l Platte /dev/sdf1: 8019 MByte, 8019484160 Byte 247 Köpfe, 62 Sektoren/Spuren, 1022 Zylinder Einheiten = Zylinder von 15314 × 512 = 7840768 Bytes Disk identifier: 0x00000000 Festplatte /dev/sdf1 enthält keine gültige Partitionstabelle In der Partionstabelle der Festplatte ist Linux-Swap auf 82, alle anderen Linux-Partionen auf 83. Bin mir immer noch immer verunsichert wie ich vorgehe. Finde ihn praktisch zum trennen von Linux- u. Windows Dateien.
