kann serielle Schnittstelle unter OS 11.1 nicht ansprechen

Hallo,
auf meinem Mainboard (Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3L) ist eine serielle Schnittstelle,
die via Slotblech nach außen geführt ist. Dies Schnittstelle ist im Bios
mit "Auto" eingeschaltet (habe auch schon andere Einstellungen probiert).
An dieser Schnittstelle soll ein analoges Modem zum Faxen verwendet werden. Es
ist ein Elsa Microlink. Von Yast wird es unter Netzwerkgeräte -> Modem nicht
erkannt. Bei meinem alten System wurde es als Elsa Microlink erkannt.
Anbei einige Ausgaben, die vielleicht zur Lösung beitragen könnten. Hat jemand
eine Idee, wie ich vorgehen könnte?
