Hallo zusammen Lange hatte ich keinen Bedarf mich an die Liste zu wenden, aber nun kann ich ein Problem einfach nicht lösen. Ich möchte mir für meinen Fileserver ein SW-Raid einrichten. Also zwei identische Platten gekauft und an den internen IDE als Primary Master und Slave angeschlossen (Ja die Performance sinkt - das wollte ich auch ändern, wenn es erstmal läuft). Ich habe also identische Partitionierungen auf beiden Platten angelegt, für alle Platten in den Raisverbund Dateityp auf 0xfd gesetzt, md0 und md1 angelegt und alles läuft soweit. Dann noch denn Bootmanager von hdo auf hd1 ebenfalls installiert, damit der PC auch einen Bootloader findet, wenn eine Platte steht. grub grub> device (hd1) /dev/sdb grub> root (hd1,0) grub> setup (hd1) grub> quit Soweit so gut. Hänge ich eine der beiden PLatten nach dem Herunterfahren ab, so wird egal welche Platte ich abhänge, ein Bootmanager gefunden, der versucht das System zu booten. Das gelingt aber nicht, egal von welcher PLatte der Versuch gestartet wird. Danach passiert nichts mehr. Wartezeit 30 Minuten. NumLock reagiert nicht mehr. STRG-ALT-ENTF ebenfalls nicht. Hier die boot.msg, bei der das booten scheitert. Stecke ich danach die Platte wieder an, kann ich diese auch problemlos ins RAID wieder integrieren. Ich hoffe, ihr könnt mir helfen, denn ein System, dass bei einem PLattenausfall nicht mehr bootet, macht auch keinen richtigen Sinn.
