benutzt Du keine swap-partition? Bei mir sieht die menu.list so aus:
title openSUSE 11.0 - 2.6.25.5-1.1
    root (hd0,0)
    kernel /vmlinuz root=/dev/disk/by-id/scsi-SATA_ST3250410AS_9RY0GT82-part5   
     
vga=0x31a resume=/dev/sdc8 splash=silent showopts
    initrd /initrd
hier ist sdc8 meine swap-partition.vieleicht ist das dein fehler.
