you mean autoinst.txt? there is no autoinst.xml file That autoinst.txt gets parsed fine here.

Finally, I've got another question: the documentation of autoyast
(http://www.suse.com/~ug/autoyast.pdf<http://www.suse.com/%7Eug/autoyast . pdf>) says that there must be the nodes "install" and "configure" (as children of the root-node "profile"). When exporting the current configuration of a fresh installed system, these nodes don't exist (same as exporting the configuration later). Is this a bug?
<install> and <configure> are deprecated since 10.0 You can still use them but they are not needed.
danke, habe ich aus der doku herausgelesen. problemlösung: es macht einen unterschied, ob man die datei am bootpromt mit autoyast=file://auto.xml oder mit autoyast=file:///auto.xml angibt! Autoyast "akzeptiert" die Datei auch mit zwei Schrägstrichen, kann sie aber offensichtlich nicht parsen. Also, die Lösung ist einfach: Datei mit 3 Schrägstrichen angeben, dann funktioniert es... --
