allow desktop tty=/dev/tty[1-9]* || tty=tty[1-9]* || tty=:0 Wenn ich das so sehe, wird das Toshiba-CD-Rom, vermutlich als IDE-SCSI eingebunden. IDE-SCSI darf man bei dem 2.6.x-Kernel auf keinen fall in Verbindung mit Brennern verwenden, das funktioniert nicht mehr richtig, weiß ich aus eigener Erfahrung. Poste mal die Links, wo die hinzeigen von: /dev/cdrom /dev/cdrom1 /dev/cdrecorder /dev/dvd /dev/dvd1 , sowie in /var/log/boot.msg der entsprechenden Geräte.
Vielleicht fällt hier dem Einen oder anderen noch etwas ungewöhnliches auf. Wenn nicht wiederhole ich nochmal die 2. Frage meiner ursprünglichen Mail:
Mit welchen DVD brenner und mit welcher K3b, cdrecord version fährt man auf der Suse 9.2 am besten, und mit welchen Einschränkungen wird man unter 9.2 immer leben müssen. Mit Kernel-2.6.8.xx gibt es generell ein Problem mit SCSI-Brenner als user. Ich hatte damals deshalb auf Kernel 2.6.10 umgestellt. Ein Problem blieb aber immer noch übrig mit cdrecord.
