Das ist mir noch gar nicht aufgefallen, vielen Dank dafür. Ich habe bei der Installation von SuSE9.3, alle Partionen außer der /home neu formatiert. Mir ist nicht bekannt, daß von cdrecord irgend etwas in meinem home-Verzeichnis abgelegt wird, oder irre ich mich da. Ich muß mal danach suchen.
version: 3.5.32"... Hmmm? Ich rufe uebrigens fuer ATAPI Laufwerke cdrecord mit "cdrecord -scanbus dev=ATAPI" auf. Vielleicht verstehe ich auch einfach Dein Problem nicht, oder ich bin zu bloed... Ich schweige nun besser.

Habe nun das Problem gelöst, es lag am usb-SMSC-Memory-Kartenleser. Das hat das ganze im durcheinander gebracht. Ein unplug rebooten, und anschließend neu einstecken und neu konfigurieren des Kartenleser brachte die Lösung. Viele Grüße, Heinz Dittmar
