Kernel Problem - drive not ready for command

Ich habe noch keine Probleme mit der Samsung SP1614N bemerkt, die
Fehlermeldung "drive not ready for command" irritiert mich aber
schon. Hängt das mit der Größe der HD von über 128GB zusammen?

Ich verwende SuSE 9.1 mit Kernel 2.6.4-52-default. Ich weiß, dass
der original augelieferte Kernel buggy ist, da der Rechner neu
aufgesetzt ist, habe ich noch kein Update gemacht.

Das Mobo sollte das neueste Bios haben:

Ich verstehe nicht ganz, warum da steht "access beyond end of
