Bei Suse 8.0 scheint yast diese IP-Aliasing Konfiguration nicht zu können. Oder doch?

Wie binde ich diese neue Konfiguration ein? Mit Suseconfig hat eine fehlende Angabe erkannt und schreibt: Executing /sbin/conf.d/SuSEconfig.hostname...

Da stimmt "irgendwas" nicht. Falls Du in letzter Zeit nichts geändert hast, hätte ich spontan die /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-eth0 im Auge... Steht Dein Hostname korrekt in /etc/HOSTNAME? (da steht er zumindest in SuSE 9.0) Bevor ich es vergesse: was passiert bei einem rcnetwork restart ?
aber die neu eingetragenen IP Adressen lassen sich nicht anpingen, auch wenn schon ein VirtHost eingerichtet wurde.
Erstmal muss das IP-Aliasing laufen und das Anpingen funktionieren, danach kommen die restlichen Nettigkeiten ;-) Eine andere Frage: Wofür verwendest Du das IP-Aliasing eigentlich? Wenn es nur für Apache-vHosts ist, kannst Du Dir den Aufwand eigentlich sparen, das funktioniert auch namensbasiert.
