adsl - connect (hiiiiilfeeee)

hallo zusammen,

ich hab da ein "kleines" adsl - problem unter suse 8.1 => es geht nicht ....
anzumerken sei, daß ich mit der selben nic + dsl - modem sehr wohl eine
verbindung über win_xp bekomme, aber wer will das schon ;-) (obwohl es
bisher einwandfrei läuft)

ich habe eine minimal installation + rp-pppoe-3.5-47
das adsl modem ist mit eth0 verbunden (wenn ich dem device ne ip verpaße und sie
an ´nem hub hänge kann ich in meinem netz überallhin pingen) sobald ich die ip wegnehme
und die konfiguration lt. http://www.roaringpenguin.com/products/rp-pppoe/how-to-connect.txt
durchführe, geht aber nix mehr ==> Timeout waiting for PADO packets

weiß jemand ´nen rat, oder wo ich mehr info´s her bekomme?
