RPM fehler beim installation SuSe 9.0 auf sony vaio

Auf mein Sony Vaio PCG laueft SuSe 8.0.
Beim ersten installation ich muss die folgenden boot parametern angeben:
ide2=0x180,0x386 pci=conf2
Und ich habe ein erfolgreiches installation, aber...
Mit SuSe 9.0 ich schreibe die selbe boot prompt ein und habe ein grosses problem spaeter im install prozess.
Die Kernel scheint io. zu sein, (es laueft weiter zum programme install punkt), aber grep, gawk etc. sind alle fehlerhaft, mit die folgenden nachricht:
'not intended for a i686 architecture'
Zuerst, ich verstehe nicht warum dieses fehler kommt beim 9.0 aber nicht mit 8.0 auf die selbe hardware.
Zweitens, wahrscheinlich kann ich die '--ignorearch' parameter fuer RPM am boot prompt geben, aber ich weisses nicht ob dass io. ist und auch ob es moeglich ist.
Falls jemand mir helfen kann, danke im voraus.
