Hallo, Folgende Ausgangssituation: SuSE 8.1 Grub 0.92 Kernel 2.19 Ich habe eine Festplatte ausgetauscht. Nach dem Umkopieren und dem Anpassen der /etc/fstab habe ich per YAST (nicht hauen) dem Bootloader neu konfiguriert. Doch beim Booten tritt ein Kernel-Panic auf "unable to mount root on 03:01". Die menue.lst [1} und grub.conf [2] habe ich überprüft, konnte jedoch keinen Fehler finden. Den Kernel habe ich testweise neu installiert (RPM) mit einem anschließendem mk_initrd. Per 1. CD -> manuelle inst. -> abbruch -> bestehendes System Booten bekomme ich das system zum laufen. 1.Festplatte IDE: /dev/hda Root liedt auf hda1. Dateisystem ist reiserfs (war auf der alten Platte ext3) 2. Festplatte SCSI, wird derzeit derzeit nicht benutzt (Backup) CD-ROM /dev/hdc. Das CD.ROM ist /dev/hdc.
