Mit großem Interesse, habe ich den thread über kmail verfolgt.
Leider hat selbst dieser mir nicht geholfen... 

Ich habe ein ähnliches Problem:
Es wird kein Passwort abgefragt um die Mail zu signieren.

Das OpenPGP Modul und alle anderen nötigen Pakete (laut: 
http://kmail.kde.org/kmail-pgpmime-howto.html) sind installiert.

Beim 'configure' behauptet newpg:
'checking for LIBGCRYPT - version >= 1.1.8... yes'
ein 'locate libgcrypt.so.1' sagt:

/home/philipp/libgcrypt-1.1.10/src/.libs/libgcrypt.so.1.4.2
/home/philipp/libgcrypt-1.1.10/src/.libs/libgcrypt.so.1
/usr/local/lib/libgcrypt.so.1.4.2
/usr/local/lib/libgcrypt.so.1

Die lib ist also da. Trotzdem bricht der Start des gpg-agent(en) mit 
der Meldung 
'gpg-agent: error while loading shared libraries: libgcrypt.so.1: 
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory'
ab. Wo zur §&%#? sucht er denn die library?

Jemand eine Idee?
