Was bedeutet das nun, manuell konfigurieren? Kann man in diesem Fall /etc/X11/XF86Config von 8.1 verwenden?
installier die 8.2. Dabei bekommst Du doch im normalfall eine XF86Config. Lass dann das .run laufen und einmal switch2nvidia. Das ersetzt doch nur das "nv" durch "nvidia".
