Schick doch einfach mal die Ausgabe von /etc/hosts an die Liste, dann hört das Rätselraten vielleicht auch auf.

Weiterhin wäre noch die Ausgabe von cat /etc/resolv.conf | grep -v "^#" hilfreich.

Wenn Du gerade schon dabei bist, dann auch noch die Ausgabe von rpm -qa | grep bind
