I learned a lot of new things in this thread, the major one being that
counting till 10 before responding is a Good Thing (tm).
Despite being an e-mail user since 1987 (in the DECnet, ARPA-net era), I
also learned about *plonk* and its frequent usage here.
It seems that the usual places I hang out more often are following
netiquette a lot closer <g>
