Öhm, ich hab das große Problem, dass ich unter meinem Linux-System nicht zum localhost connecten kann, auch wenn eindeutig der Apache-http-daemon an ist (warum heißen die eigentlich alle daemon?). Das funktioniert weder mit lynx, noch mit konqueror, wobei es mit dem noch nie ging. Kann mir jemand helfen?
Funktioniert denn überhaupt dein localhost device ?? was sagt denn ein "ifconfig" ?? steht da ein lo drin ??

und was steht in der /var/log/httpd/rcapache ??
Die Datei ist bei mir leer. Und wenn ich noch ein .log dranhänge, steht da Syntax OK drin.
IMHO steht der localhost Eintrag standard mäßig in der /etc/hosts drin. Ist das bei Dir auch so?

Ich hab html-Dateien mit dem Konqueror verknüpft; beim Doppelklicken auf eine solche erzählt er mir, die Anwendung könne diesen Dateityp nicht verarbeiten. Wenn ich dann auf Öffnen mit... Konqueror gehe, öffnen sich auf einmal Tausende von Browserfenster; irgendwo hab ich noch nen Screenie von der 54. Instanz eines Konquerorfensters rumliegen. Eins nach dem anderen, immer mehr; mein Desktop wird überflutet, nichts anderes geht mehr (an Windows besser: Strg + Alt + Entf stoppt ALLES), weil ein Fenster (z.B. Konsole) sofort von einem neuen Browserfenster zugedeckt wird... So ein Scheiß! Hab den SuSE-Support zugelabert, aber die konnten mir auch nicht weiterhelfen, weil ich wohl der einzige Trottel bin, dem sowas passiert. 2. Ich konnte auch im Konqueror nicht auf den localhost zugreifen, wenn es bei allen anderen Browsertypen (Opera, lynx, Netscape ist doof) ging! Bye Tobi All hail Melissa Joan Hart!
