Hallo Liste! Auf meinem "Testrechner" will ich jetzt mal den 2.5.7er Kernel installieren. Aber beim kompilieren krieg ich dauernd folgende Fehlermeldungen: gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/linux-2.5.7/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -Wno-trigraphs -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -fno-strict-aliasing -fno-common -pipe -mpreferred-stack-boundary=2 -march=i686 -malign-functions=4 -DMODULE -DMODVERSIONS -include /usr/src/linux-2.5.7/include/linux/modversions.h -DKBUILD_BASENAME=esp -c -o esp.o esp.c gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/linux-2.5.7/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -Wno-trigraphs -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -fno-strict-aliasing -fno-common -pipe -mpreferred-stack-boundary=2 -march=i686 -malign-functions=4 -DMODULE -DMODVERSIONS -include /usr/src/linux-2.5.7/include/linux/modversions.h -DKBUILD_BASENAME=synclink -c -o synclink.o synclink.c synclink.c:63: #error Please convert me to Documentation/DMA-mapping.txt make[2]: *** [synclink.o] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.5.7/drivers/char' make[1]: *** [_modsubdir_char] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.5.7/drivers' make: *** [_mod_drivers] Error 2 linux:/usr/src/linux-2.5.7 # So langsam weis ich aber nicht mehr, wo ich den Fehler noch suchen soll. Es hat anscheinend mit irgendeinem Treiber zu tun, aber welchen? Hat vielleicht jemand von Euch einen brauchbaren Tip für mich? Gruss, Jürgen
