Wenn Du nur ein Tape Drive hast, kannst Du folgendes Kommando verwenden: restore -ivf /tmp/dump Es muesste nun das Standardlaufwerk benutzt werden. Bei mir ist es "/dev/st0" (siehe "/var/log/boot.msg"<4>). Ich bin nicht sicher, aber Deine Variante funktioniert wahrscheinlich nicht, weil Du das "non-rewinding" device ausgewaehlt hast. Somit befindet sich das Tape nicht unbedingt am Anfang. Mit der anderen Variante entfaellt dieser Schritt, da als Quelle "/dev/st0" und als Ziel-FS "/tmp" automatisch gewaehlt werden.
