Welche version von ssh und dante setzt du denn ein? Ist bei ssh das setuid bit gesetzt? http://www.inet.no/dante/FAQ/node16.html Eventuell mußt du dir deinen SSH-Client auch mit socks-support neu übersetzen. Für SuSE 7.1 gibt es ein src.rpm von Openssh 2.9p1, dort mußt du in das spec-file vor den ./configure-Aufruf LDFLAGS="-ldsocks" hinzufügen und das rpm neu bauen. Mit ldd `which ssh`|grep sock kannst du prüfen, ob dein ssh-client socksfähig ist.
