Hi folks,
I installed a program on my machine at home. When I try to run it from a term i get the following error message:" Java home not set. Please set $Java_Home to the home of Java 1.3 before proceeding".
Do you have any idea what this is about. Java is located in /usr/bin.I can get you more precise info as well.
Thanks,
Achim HI,
so set it: Java_Home = /usr/bin;export Java_Home (maybe the variable name is JAVA_HOME (usual such things are uppercase) and maybe there are more then one directory (because the prog searches for some libs) then add them with ":", as in the PATH variable. -- may the tux be with You!
