Hallo Liste, hier läuft eine SuSE 6.0 mit Kernel 2.0.38 als Server. Seit einigen Tagen habe ich folgendes Problem: ein #ping localhost gibt keine Antwort mehr, ein #nslookup localhost gibt nur den lokalen DNS-Server (bind 4.9.7)aus, das warŽs. Nach jeder dieser Eingaben an einer Konsole ist eben jene blockiert und nur ein Strg + C gibt sie wieder frei. Jedes #ping host für laufende Hosts außer eben localhost funktioniert, ebenso ein #nslookup host für Hosts außer localhost (jeweils alles im lokalen Netz ohne Internetverbindung). Also, wo liegt der Fehler mit dem localhost? Denn ohne erreichbaren localhost wollen diverse Dienste auf dem Server nicht laufen.
