Als Neu-LINUX-User bin ich vor einige knifflige Aufgaben gestellt,  
darunter folgende:

Seit einiger Zeit bekomme ich als ROOT angemeldet taegl. folgende  
mail:

Subj.: Cron <root@...> $HOME/bin/cron.daily

X-Cron-Env: <SHELL=/bin/sh>
            <PATH=/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/lib/news/bin>
            <MAILTO = root>
            <HOME = /root>
            <LOGNAME = root>

Found core file older than 7 days:
            /core
            /home/user1/core
            /root/core

Ich habe das Handbuch vor und zurueckgewaelzt, man-Pages und How-to  
durchwuehlt, jedoch nix gefunden.

Wer kann mir weiterhelfen???
