I would like to see this separated into 2 announcements/articles. I think the CfP should be separate, i.e. everything below "Call for Papers" should be a separate announcement. This will allow us to "officially" announce the conference even if we are not quite ready with the CfP infrastructure. It will also allow you to expand the article and talk more about our host city and the Greek community making all the local arrangements (and more). The expanded coverage of the locale will help us when we seek the oSC14 location. Further having the CfP separate allows us to get double coverage of the event in short order without repetition. The article should also speak about supporting the event by buying "supporter" or "professional" tickets. We still need to figure out what we will do for "professional" tickets but I think we should at least mention this. I should have a link for the ticket sales soon, hopefully in the next day or two. The CfP tool will not be ready for prime time for maybe 2 weeks and I would not want to hold up the conference announcement while Matt puts the finishing touches on OSEM (Open Source Event Manager).
