At least file owner and timestamps will be changed. Ok, these are metadata,
but ...

Whatever high level result you wanted to get from this behavior, this is
the wrong place to insert it.

The OBS could reject files which are not compliant. Something along:

The file "foo.spec" has been rejected as it is not compliant to formatting
rules, see https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Specfile_guidelines for
details.

Please fix these issues, either manually or by executing "osc service run
format_spec_file".
