We have a private OBS instance (obs-server-2.1.11-4.5.x86_64), running under openSUSE 11.4 We use mic2 to generate images. On several occasions we have encountered an error while generating images such as this: Error: failed to create image : Unable to download from repo : Package Header kernel-3.0.1-20.1.rpm RPM Cannot open Error: Failed to run mic inside bootstrap environment. Return code: 1 It seems like the newly built rpm (kernel-3.0.1-21.1.rpm) has been published, but the index file has not been generated as yet. The image creator downloads the index and then goes on to download the rpms with the versions specified in the index. Since the index file is out of date (it has kernel-3.0.1-20.1.rpm specified in there), the image creator tries to download this version (kernel-3.0.1-20.1.rpm) and it does not exists anymore, since the new version (kernel-3.0.1-21.1.rpm) has already been published. I have filed a bug - https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=745708 Has anybody else encountered this problem. Are there any plans to fix this?
