In the package home:pelliott11:lucid-dependancies-universe > wxwidgets2.8
I am trying to build a package taken directly from lucid universe.
It fails because of some kind of wierd sed failure:
------------------------
dpkg-buildpackage: set CFLAGS to default value: -g -O2
dpkg-buildpackage: set CPPFLAGS to default value:
dpkg-buildpackage: set LDFLAGS to default value: -Wl,-Bsymbolic-functions
dpkg-buildpackage: set FFLAGS to default value: -g -O2
dpkg-buildpackage: set CXXFLAGS to default value: -g -O2
dpkg-buildpackage: source package wxwidgets2.8
dpkg-buildpackage: source version 2.8.10.1-0ubuntu1
dpkg-buildpackage: source changed by Devid Antonio Filoni
dpkg-buildpackage: host architecture amd64
fakeroot-tcp debian/rules clean
sed -e
's/=V/2.8/g;s/=SOV/2.8-0-/usr/src/packages/BUILD/g;s/=PY/python/g;s/=U//g'\
< debian/control.in > debian/control
sed: -e expression #1, char 26: unknown option to `s'
make: *** [debian/control] Error 1
dpkg-buildpackage: error: fakeroot-tcp debian/rules clean gave error exit
status 2
[ 384.496616] System halted.
----------------------------------------------
My question is this: The package presumably successfully built for the ubuntu
universe people. The build service environement is supposed to be identical. I
am building the same source package. How can I get different results?
Are there different versions of sed that the ubuntu people might have had
installed.
Thank You.
