Hi
You need to add an 'old' to the URL
http://old-en.opensuse.org/SUSE_Package_Conventions/RPM_Macros
and
http://old-en.opensuse.org/SUSE_Package_Conventions/Desktop_Menu

%suse_update_desktop_file -r %{name} %{name} System Filesystem

Should get you going, assuming you have a build requires on
update-desktop-files
