OK, did that but halts before it can finish the configure. Is there another way to access the logs? an alternative solution would be: ln -s /usr/include/et/com_err.h /usr/include/com_err.h that's how I got it to work on my own box. But I could not do that in the build service because I was getting permission denied errors. What is the difference between Support and Keep? Like, let's say I have a package FOO that I'd like to always be installed in the build environment, *if* it is available. If it is not available, block all other builds until it *is* available, but do not block FOO itself. How do I do that? Hi list, I intend to package 'build' for Debian distribution (and it will be probably picked up by derivatives). At the moment, Debian ship osc package but it lacks build command. 'build' name is too generic. Is it possible to rename 'build' to something less generic ? Below, you can find some proposal: - opensuse-build - obs-build - osc-build This changes implies a renaming at all places as the code checks for 'build'. [opensuse-buildservice] Can we please get ARM builds for 11.3+1?

Hi all, I today asked $topic during the project meeting and it was suggested to discuss this on this list. So, question is, can we get ARM builds for 11.3+1 and what is currently missing to get this done. Someone correct me if I am wrong but iirc ARM can already get build on OBS but it needs cross compilation which seriously slows things down. OTOH the Meego folks use it happily for their purposes which includes ARM. So, from the top of my head: 1. am I correct that OBS is already able to build for ARM but it is slow due to cross compilation being needed? 2. What is possible to speed that up - e.g. how do the Meego folks do this? 3. Weren't it an option to exclude "big" packages (e.g. OpenOffice stack) and just build those once in a while - e.g. for milestones? 4. Hi, SUSE:SLE-11:SP1 containtains now the SLE base in version SP 1. The means it contains all packages as shipped with SLES, SLED, HAE, SDK, ... version 11 SP 1. People who create new SLE 11 repositories will get this as a base by default, since it is recommended to upgrade to SP1. Building against SP0 level is still fine and your packages should still work on SP 1. The exception are kernel based packages like kmp. [opensuse-buildservice] Requires(pre): problem

This evening I created a new package "nagios" in home:johnberanek:nagios3. This was an import of a package from EPEL6. As received from EPEL6 it builds happily on a CentOS 5 machine, but in OBS with RHEL5/CentOS5 build target it fails with "unresolvable: nothing provides user(nagios), group(nagios)". The package spec has: Requires: user(nagios) Requires(pre): user(nagios) Requires: group(nagios) Requires(pre): group(nagios) Provides: user(nagios) Provides: group(nagios) On the advice of darix/coolo I solved the problem with a bootstrap procedure of commenting out the Requires(pre) lines, and this allows the build to complete. At this point I should be possible to put the Requires(pre) lines back. However, that bootstrap hack is hardly obvious/"nice" behaviour for OBS. ;) Right, that's all for now. Hello, we are running last obs appliance ( 2.0.2 ) If I setpu proxy in BSConfig.pm to our $proxy = "http://proxyhost:8080" obs will dstop working and I will receive just following error in WEBUI openSUSE Webclient Error: Error Details: Errorcode: unknown Message: uncaught exception: Failed to establish connection: Connection refused - connect(2) Do you have any idea what could be the problem?
