You need to fix your build. It should not access /srv/... but instead %{buildroot}/srv/...
Thanks, I forgot that. I really feel stupid I missed such a simple thing.
What I had was
rm -rf $RPM_BUILD_ROOT
mkdir -p $RPM_BUILD_ROOT%{appdir}/fom-meta
install -d $RPM_BUILD_ROOT%{appdir}/fom-meta
So I really did not forget. This is turning into
/srv/www/cgi-bin/fom-meta with the error. So that was not the problem.
It does not like the above.
