hi,
atm the buildservice tries to build rpms on .deb platforms if no deb package description is found. imho this is not the best behavior and should be disabled.
comments?
These rpms are installebale on debian as well, since this is the format defined by LSB. So, better have something to be able to install and run than nothing, no ?
if those rpms are supposed to be build for debian in first place maybe. but in the end you got a mixup of different dependency systems. how should an rpm on debian see the stuff provided by debian packages? imho we should only provide native packages. darix -- openSUSE - SUSE Linux is my linux openSUSE is good for you www.opensuse.org --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org
