That the download statistics are missing is unfortunate for our users, primarily. For decisions about mirroring they *can* also be used, but that's by no means a blocker. We know very well what's downloaded most on download.opensuse.org. And the download counting happens only for the buildservice anyway.

Not quite what I meant, sorry for not making it clearer. We don't need more push mirrors. We need more mirrors mirroring (parts of) the buildservice at all. Right now, 200 GB (without homes) or 300 GB (with homes) is just too much. That's not a question of pushing of pulling ;)
