Hi Adrian,

thanks for providing an update for the OBS in openSUSE:Tools.
Here is some hints what to do in order to get it working:

1. Rails update

As James Oakley pointed out, you need to update "rails".
There is already a build for this in the buildservice, in the
OBS Project "ruby". For openSUSE 10.2, just add
http://software.opensuse.org/download/ruby/openSUSE_10.2
to yast and install the rails and related updates.

2. Config files

The config files:
./frontend/config/environments/development.rb
./webclient/config/environments/development.rb
have been split up to "development.rb" + "development_base.rb".
So edit now the corresponding:
"development_base.rb" file to change e.g. if you whish to run
the frontend or webclient on a different IP Adress.
Also, in
./frontend/config/environments/development_base.rb
the local run of RPM Server and Source Server is not default anymore,
so you have to change this.

3. rake migrate

When updating, dont forget "rake migrate" in:

/srv/www/obs/frontend/

and

/srv/www/obs/webclient/

4. Installation of new osc update

Adrian also suggested to update to osc 0.98, which I did.

5. obs_mirror_project

When installing the new obs packages, there comes a new script
obs_mirror_project to get the build targets like:
"openSUSE:10.2"
"openSUSE:Factory"
etc. mirrored into the local OBS installation.
It makes sure you have exactly the same *.rpm base as the original
opensuse.org buildserver. I can only recommend this (if you have enough time
and internet bandwidth).

Buttom line:

Thanks Adrian and Jamesfor the OBS update and hints, I got it working :-)

Martin
