If xaw3d-devel hasn't been synced into the Build Service yet, you might want to link in the xaw3d package from openSUSE:Factory and build it local to your project. (Don't forget to add xaw3d-devel to your BuildRequires.)
The package even does not exist in the latest Alpha (4) version of OpenSUSE Factory! So I think the problem is not only in Buildservice. And, of course, it is clear that I have to add xaw3d-devel to Buildrequires.
Seems like a sync is still pending. If it doesn't show up within the next 48 hours, reporting a bug at http://bugzilla.novell.com will be very much appreicated.
