On both Debian Etch and xUbuntu 6.06 I still see:

machine type: i686
/.build/build: line 197: mount: command not found
cp: cannot create special file `/.build/swapdev': Read-only file system
cp: cannot stat `/.build/swapdev': No such file or directory
/.build/build: line 212: swapon: command not found
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
 <0>Rebooting in 1 seconds..

FWIW, this happens on build09. Full build logs:

Looks similar to the "mount" issues with Mandriva reported (and fixed) recently.

Is this being worked on for Debian/xUbuntu already?
