http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1032211 Bug ID: 1032211 Summary: LVM volume disabled after installation (Same as Bug 997637) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE 42.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: dgolden@golden-consulting.com QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- New install 42.2 and reboot fails because /home lv is disabled. Following the bug referenced in summary, I had to edit /etc/lvm/lvm.conf and change 'use_lvmetad = 1' to 'use_lvmetad = 0'. This is not beta install distribution. It is 'openSUSE-leap-42.2-DVD-x86_64-Build0283' Dated 11/09/2016. The original (997737) was marked as closed/fixed. This does not appear to be the case. System is running now, but only after changing the lvm configuration. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
