Boot with "debug printk.devkmsg=on" output on serial console
I've been playing with booting this kernel and initramfs inside a VM. I can't
claim this is a valid model, but I can reproduce:
* if I boot with "single", it asks for the password
* if I boot a normal command-line, I end up in a screen that doesn't do
anything
* if I boot the regular command-line and with a serial console
(console=ttyS0,115200n8) plus debug printk.devkmsg=on, I get the attached
output
You can see from the file it did ask for the password on the serial console. I
don't know if the behaviour changes because of the use of serial (no graphics
possible) or if it always asks that but I am unable to type in the regular
boot.
