http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1023115 Bug ID: 1023115 Summary: org.gnome.Shell.PortalHelper queries an HTTPS url and returns failed TLS handshake Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME Assignee: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: rick.ashford@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Running openSUSE Tumbleweed with gnome-shell 3.22.2. When on a new hotspot, the Portal Helper always shows with "Unacceptable TLS handshake" and no way to do anything with the window. The issue arises because the URL that Portal Helper checks is https://www.gnome.org and the SSL certificate from the hotspot redirect does not match. I believe that in upstream they are changing to use http://nmcheck.gnome.org instead. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
