Takashi Iwai
I have arrived on leap 42.2 beta3 (via zypper dup and already populated beta3 repo today) and it has some official 4.4.22 kernel
seemingly I can really actually only exactly suspend once second suspend attempt after wakeup causes the system to somehow hang or crash powering down monitor and needing a reset or repower
I have even tried with current kotd head 4.8 rc8
Linux linux 4.8.0-rc8-2.g991ee60-default #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Sep 27 11:01:09 UTC 2016 (991ee60) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
exactly the same. only possible to suspend this machine once
the machine is pretty simple actually. single sata hdd, some sata optical drive, usb keyboard mouse, chipset vga everything onboard the mainboard.
too bad that in 2016 linux is still suffering from such stuff.
So your problem is a different issue. Please reopen another bug instead of hanging on the irrelevant bug. The original issue Adam had was fixed by the recent kernel, so let's close this bug entry. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
