Yes, here's all the details...
To repeat, I asked for encrypted LVM with XFS and no separate /home partition.
"Suggested partition" screen thus shows me:
-create boot volume /dev/sda6 (156.88MiB) with vfat
-create volume /dev/sda7 (156.88MiB)
-create encrypted volume /dev/sda8 (136.66GiB)
-create volume group system (136.66GiB) from /dev/sda8
-create logical volume /dev/system/root (10.00GiB) for / with xfs
-create swap logical volume /dev/system/swap (2.00GiB)
I click "Next" and go thru the next few screens (timezone, desktop, new user).
Perhaps relevant is that in the summary screen it shows for the "Booting"
section: boot loader type: GRUB2 EFI, enable secure boot: yes. I think it's as
expected.
Then I click "Install" and confirm to start installation. Next screen shows
progress getting to 7% with "preparing disks" and then this dialog:
Failure occurred during the following action:
Formatting partition /dev/sda7 (157.0MiB) with unknown
VOLUME_FORMAT_UNKNOWN_FS
System error code was: -3005
Continue despite the error?
I click "Abort" and a second or two later I see "signal 11" on a black screen.
