I am upgrading the severity and the priority to get this fixed ASAP. The reason
is this. I had not been using my virtual machines, but I just now started
something where I will have to frequently go into my virtual machine
(virtualbox). I start it up in full screen mode. However, if the kwin fault
happens while virtualbox is up and running in full screen mode (which happens
on my pc more often than not), there is no recourse. You cannot open a konsole
and kill kwin_x11 and restart it, because the keyboard and mouse are both
grabbed by the virtual machine and will not respond. This has happened twice to
me, both times while I was in the middle of critical work. The only thing to do
when that happens is to hold the power button down until the computer shuts
off, and then completely reboot. Not good for anyone. Please put some attention
onto this bug, I know that other people are having it, as it effects 2 of my
computers.
