http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=944739 Bug ID: 944739 Summary: Can't login to xrdp server the second time Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: 13.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE 13.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: ginkobonsai@gmx.de QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- I've got an xrdp server (package: xrdp-0.9.0git.1401423964-2.1.x86_64) running on my openSUSE 13.2 laptop and try to log in with xfreerdp (package: freerdp-1.0.2-3.4.1.x86_64) from my desktop (running openSUSE 13.1). This works perfectly fine the first time I log in. However, once I log out again and then try to reconnect (just like before), I get a generic error message, something along the lines of: login successful for display started connecting connecting to 127.0.0.1 error - problem connecting Login to other server from the same client work perfectly fine. The logs on the server show nothing interesting (a warning about the keymap file and a message about starting sesman). ps reveals a defunct xrdp-sessvc process. Once I shut down the xrdp service, wait briefly, and then restart, I can log in again. Also, the defunct xrdp-sessvc vanishes. The problem is that the user doing this needs root access. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
