--- Comment #2 from Marco Brignol
Randomly the br1 bridge stops to bridge traffic and it is impossible to recover without restarting the system, even if I delete and reconfigure the bridge.
Does it mean no packets get through, including broadcasts? Including traffic between vnet0 and vnet2? What does "brctl showmacs" look like when this happens?
No packet at all is bridged. I will wait an occurrence of this issue and then send you the "brctl showmacs" results with my comments.
# modinfo r8168 filename: /lib/modules/3.16.7-21-desktop/kernel/drivers/net/ethernet/realtek/r8168.ko version: 8.039.00-NAPI
This doesn't look like ours. Can the issue be reproduced with r8169 from openSUSE kernel package?
The r1869 driver is not working with my hardware # hwinfo --netcard 40: PCI 500.0: 0200 Ethernet controller [Created at pci.328] Unique ID: D2Iq.5rbhBgx50x4 Parent ID: Rgik.DknfbwVt1O3 SysFS ID: /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:15.0/0000:05:00.0 SysFS BusID: 0000:05:00.0 Hardware Class: network Model: "Realtek RTL8111/8168 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet controller" Vendor: pci 0x10ec "Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd." (ignore the board #0, I'm preparing some test to verify whether or not a new hardware fixes the problem)

I have compiled the driver from the source as if I try to install the r8168 module in yast I always get the error message that Ksym(desktop:dump_stack) = 6b2dc060 can't be found. (is there a fix?) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
