Hello,
We could just pass option -n (--no-i18n) to %suse_update_desktop_files when we
install gnome-control-center's desktop files:
https://build.opensuse.org/package/rdiff/home:1Antoine1:branches:GNOME:Factory/gnome-control-center?opackage=gnome-control-center&oproject=GNOME%3AFactory&rev=3
Option -n turns X-SuSE-translate flag to "false", which makes
brp-trim-desktop.sh ignore the desktop file. This way translations are just
kept into the desktop files and items from gnome-control-center are translated
in the results of search.
I can make a submit request if you think this "solution" looks good. But I
suppose the perfect solution for openSUSE would be that gnome-control-center
search-provider supports gettext (does it?).
