http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=928113 Bug ID: 928113 Summary: yast2-backup is missing since openSUSE 13.2 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 201503* Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: bjoernv@arcor.de QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- The Yast backup tool (package yast2-backup) is not available in openSUSE 13.2 and Factory. That's too bad, because Yast backup had some USPs: - integration with RPM (it doesn't save unmodified RPM files) - integration in Yast - easy to use - beginner friendly - the recommendation "make backups!" in the documentation can be implemented with it. Also, the missing yast2-backup module is not mentioned in release notes. The release notes also do not mention alternatives to yast2-backup. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
