http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=920178 Bug ID: 920178 Summary: yast does not inherit the setup ip configuration Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: 13.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE 13.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: forge.novell.com@matthias.subik.de QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_7_5) AppleWebKit/537.78.2 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/6.1.6 Safari/537.78.2 Build Identifier: after network+ssh installation, system comes up without network Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install via network 2. complete first run yast via ssh Actual Results: no interfaces (besides lo configured) Expected Results: at least the running interface (configured while installing manually or via DHCP) should be kept that way. After completing my first network install (after systemd+wicked) I couldn't log in, I had to resort back to the serial console. It might be related to the fact that I had used an "minimal autoyast" file, not to have to repeat the "next-next-next" a gazillion times while testing. But still, an empty autoyast shouldn't override the completely working network config done already. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
