--- Comment #10 from Ancor Gonzalez Sosa
I made an effort that two months ago, so far the YaST maintainers stance has been to keep the broken frontend and thereby to ignore that people run into bugs and report them here, which I find not very acceptable. See https://github.com/yast/yast-yast2/pull/302#issuecomment-64540837 and my replies.
Guido, I see your point. But others would say that introducing an update with a potential risk of altering the UI behavior is not very acceptable as well (even if you explained in your mentioned replies that the chances are rather low). Thanks $DEITY we have a maintenance team to make these decisions if the developers don't reach an agreement. :-) We just need a FINAL decision to have a clear view on how to proceed with the bug reports from now on. On one hand Guido is right, we have some bugs related to this issue and I'd expect more to come. On the other hand, Martin is right as well. We already have a valid workaround documented in the release notes and a maintenance update would introduce a unneeded chance for people who is happily using the GTK+ interface right now. Let the will of the maintenance team be. ;-) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
